The Neuropterida Species of the World catalogue documents fundamental taxonomic, nomenclatural and distributional information on extant and extinct neuropterid species on a global scale. The catalogue is a primary component of the Lacewing Digital Library (LDL) web portal (http://lacewing.tamu.edu/). The Catalogue of Life dataset is restricted to a taxonomic checklist of extant species. For more complete information on all neuropterid names/taxa, including considerable additional documentation from the primary scientific literature, search the on-line version of the catalogue at http://lacewing.tamu.edu/Species-Catalogue/scspeciescatalogue.cfm. |
