Abstract:

World Brachiopoda and Phoronida databases are taxonomic databases of recent lamp-shells and horseshoe worms species and higher taxon names, excluding fossil species. Distribution maps of the species and genus are being added gradually. Databases are closely related to web portals http://paleopolis.rediris.es/BrachNet/ and http://paleopolis.rediris.es/Phoronida/. Data are contributed to the Catalogue of Life via the World Register of Marine Species (WoRMS), hosted by the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ).
